Haseera: an Arabic trivia party game for family and friends
Haseera (حصيرة) is a Jeopardy-style trivia game in Arabic, made for the moment everyone is in the same room — a family gathering, an evening with friends, a night in with cousins who live on the other side of the world. It is free to start, runs in the browser, and needs nothing installed.
Opens the game in Arabic — no download, no sign-up.
How a game works
Split into two teams and pick one person to host. Together you choose six topics, and a board appears with questions worth 200, 400 and 600 points. The team whose turn it is picks a square, the host reads the question and judges the answer, and the points are counted for you. Harder questions are worth more, and the team with the most points at the end wins.
A 200 is something most people who follow that topic know; a 600 is for the real experts. So there is a question for the grandmother and a question for the teenager, and everyone gets a turn to shine.
One phone, on the TV
The whole game runs from a single phone. Mirror it to the television with AirPlay, Smart View or Cast and the board is on the big screen for the whole room, while the phone stays in the host's hand. No extra device, no app on the TV, and nobody has to sign up before the first game.
15,574 questions across 192 topics
Football, anime, series, geography, flags, history, Islamic knowledge, music, films, cartoons from the Spacetoon years, medicine and much more — every question written one by one and checked before it goes in. A question your family has already played does not come back on your account.
Made for Arabs everywhere
Haseera is made by an independent developer in Iraq, for Arabic speakers in every country — and for the families abroad who want an evening in their own language, whether they live in Germany, the United States, the UK, Turkey or anywhere else. There is also a Kurdish (Sorani) edition.
The game itself is in Arabic: the questions, the answers and the screens. This page is here to explain it in English.
Free to start
Your first two games are free, with no sign-up. After that, extra games are a one-time purchase that stays on your account — no subscription and no automatic renewal.
